It may not have been the best soccer game you'll ever see, but it was definitely the cutest soccer game you'll ever see.
Watch below as a group of ginger kitties (and a pair of finger puppets) representing Japan's Samurai Blue and Cote d'Ivoire's Les Elephants try to predict the outcome of their group stage match on Saturday.
(Spoiler: There are no losers in cat soccer.)
