Many things have changed since Happy Gilmore was released nearly 20 years ago, but Adam Sandler and Bob Barker are still just as committed to their famous fictional feud as they were when the film was shot.
Barker, 91, and Sandler, 48, recently got together to recreate what was arguably the 1996 sports comedy's most memorable scene — the one where Happy (Sandler) and Bob Barker (who plays himself) get into one seriously intense brawl during a golf tournament.
The 2015 redux of the fight was uploaded to YouTube yesterday as a teaser for Comedy Central's upcoming Night of Too Many Stars charity telethon.
While the sketch above is not an exact reenactment of the Happy Gilmore scene (the rumble takes place in a hospital, as opposed to a golf course) Barker and Sandler fight just as dirty as they did in the film — if not more so.
Instead of knocking Sandler out at the end, for instance, Barker spews the contents of a vial marked "EBOLA" in his face.
"I wish I could see the look on David Spade's face when he finds out there won't be a Grown Ups 3!" he laughs as biohazardous waste drips down Sandler's Boston Bruins jersey.
Hot soup, a urine-filled bedpan, and another patient's prosthetic leg are also used as weapons — but that's all we'll spoil for now. You can watch the full video for yourself right here.
