City-branded Toronto condom design rolls out on Twitter

Toronto's health department rolled out the design of the city's first branded condom on Wednesday. The design was revealed bit by bit over Twitter. (Toronto Public Health)

In a slow reveal that took place on Wednesday over Twitter, Toronto's public health department rolled out its design for the city's first-ever branded condom.

The condom wrapper features city street signs selected for their pun potential: Coxwell Ave., Cummer Ave. and Wood Street.

The move toward a city-branded condom follows similar campaigns in New York and Los Angeles.

A statement on the city's website says condom use goes up as availability increases.

The condoms will be available in clubs, gyms and clinics across the city.
